He married Rebecca Gorbett in Wallowa on Aug 2, 1975. He owned and operated a logging truck in the Sweet Home and La Grande areas. He was a member of the First Christian Church of La Grande. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Lorna, and his step father, Roy Kimbro, both of Ridgefield; a son Owen; daughters Nicki and Miken; and a sister, Karen Gitch, also of Ridgefield.
